About

Our Mission

The School of Education prepares individuals to be collaborative leaders and advocates for their professions. We promote education, counseling, and leadership as creative endeavors informed by research.

In our initial programs, candidates become analytical, competent, ethical, and reflective professionals who promote culturally-responsive practices in a pluralistic society.

In our advanced programs, candidates transform from practitioners into key decision-makers, researchers, and partners in school and community settings.

Due to Covid-19, School of Education offices are open on a limited basis. Staff members who are not in the office will be available remotely during normal business hours from 8am-5pm (ET). Until further notice, Academic Advisors are available to meet with students via Zoom or by phone only.

For the quickest response, we recommend contacting us via email/phone.
