Initial Licensure Programs
Secondary Transition to Teaching
Designed for individuals who have a bachelor’s degree in any subject and who want to become licensed teachers in secondary schools (grades 5-12).
Secondary Transition to Teaching
Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education
Students earn their mild-intervention teaching license and then have the opportunity to complete a master’s degree with just four additional courses! Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree.
Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education (includes initial licensure in mild intervention)
Additional Licensure Programs
Our Intense Intervention licensure program is designed for individuals who currently possess a mild-intervention license. Contact the graduate advisor for information about when classes will be offered.
Non-Licensure Programs
For teachers who want to build upon their current skills, this program emphasizes new and emerging pedagogical practices designed to meet the needs of Generation Z and beyond.
