Technology Expectations for Teacher Education Students

To support the integration of technology in teaching and learning, the Teacher Education Program strongly encourages all students to obtain a personal laptop or comparable device. This technology will be used throughout coursework, field experiences, and student teaching to access digital resources, complete assignments, and engage in instructional design. Students will begin using their devices in EDUC-W 200 and continue throughout the program.

Familiarity with both Windows and Mac platforms is beneficial, as local schools use a variety of systems. By developing strong digital competencies, students will be better prepared to meet the demands of modern classrooms and enhance their marketability as future educators.
